Christmas with the Campbells seemed promising. Vince Vaughn and Ralphie from A Christmas Story produced the AMC+ new release. It stars Britney Snow and Justin Long (plus it has Norm from Cheers).

The concept sounded ok if a bit predictable. Britney Snow goes to her ex-boyfriend’s house for Christmas and sparks fly between her and her ex’s cousin.

I expected the raunchiness, but I did not expect Justin Long’s strange folksy, rugged accent. Was he a Texas ranger? A Colorado lumberjack? I’m glad my friends Brian and Erin watched this movie too because otherwise, I would go to my grave wondering what was up with that accent.
